ALAMEDA Cheap Hunter Renfrow Jersey , Calif. (AP) — Landry Jones. The move on Tuesday gives the Raiders another potential backup behind starter Derek Carr. Oakland signed Mike Glennon earlier in free agency and also has Nathan Peterman on the roster.Jones was originally a fourth-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2013. He has played 18 games with five starts in his career, completing 108 of 169 passes for 1,310 yards, eight TDs, seven interceptions and an 86.2 passer rating.“I like him because he has experience,” coach Jon Gruden said. “I’ve seen him win games as a starter. I think his history with Antonio Brown will help me personally. A productive guy. He’s a quick study. He can learn. He can go out there and function on game day with very little reps, and that is a skill that is hard to find.“I’ll get a lot from that. I’ll break down all of Antonio’s targets — I don’t just break it down one play after another, it’s this play, this is the play they are running. Why did he run this route? How did they coach this route? … You learn a lot of things they asked him to do, and that will help me.” Taking a look at undrafted free agent Alec Ingold."WhiteFanposts Fanshots Raiders StoriesScheduleRosterStatsYahoo Raiders NewsYahoo Raiders Team PageYahoo Raiders ReportYahoo Raiders Depth ChartYahoo Raiders TransactionsYahoo Raiders PhotosOdds About Masthead Community Guidelines StubHub ✕Raiders 2019 UDFA scouting report: FB Alec Ingold has a legitimate chance to make the teamNew,26commentsTaking a look at undrafted free agent Alec Ingold. He is a natural lead blocker, and was primarily used in this role in Wisconsin’s I-formations. He was an extension of their offensive line, as he is a physical player that plays with great pad level. Ingold had zero fumbles in his collegiate career. He is a competitor and has experience on Special Teams. WeaknessesWhile he can get the job done, Ingold lacks elite athleticism and will never be a threat as a ball-carrier in the NFL. He also does not bring much value to the passing game as he didn’t run many routes in college, and his pass-pro could be improved. VerdictOverall, Ingold was arguably the best fullback in his class, and he was the only player at his position to be invited to the Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine. He is an asset as a lead blocking fullback, and he impressed at the Senior Bowl under the Raiders coaching staff. Fit With RaidersAfter a disappointing season from Kieth Smith, Ingold will have a legitimate chance to unseat him as the Raiders starting fullback if he impresses in camp. While he didn’t have many opportunities in college, Ingold made the most of them and displayed his grittiness. He could be a nice complement to Josh Jacobs in the Raiders backfield, and his style of play fits the “Gruden Grinder” mold that the Raiders head coach loves.
